This is so simple you don't really need a recipe but to honour our favourite chutney we thought we needed to showcase it. This is the perfect lunch or afternoon snack and for is even better with the addition of a little Worcestershire sauce drizzled on top.
2 thick slices of your choice of bread
1 tablespoon of green tomato chutney
3/4 slices of mature cheddar (you can swap this for a vegan option)
Spread the green tomato chutney on both pieces of bread add the slices of the cheese on top and place under the grill (or in the oven at 200C) for 4-5 minutes until the cheese has gone gooey and melted. Remove from the grill, leave to cool slightly and enjoy! If you want some extra flavour drizzle some Worcestershire sauce over the cheese.
